Labor is the heart and soul of the socialist movement. In a capitalist economy, all working people, regardless of industry, environment, hours, pay, or prestige, must sell their labor to earn money to provide for themselves and their families. In the face of many bosses, there is one class: the working class.
The Labor Solidarity campaign is an effort to bring workers from all types of employment together for the goal of wages, benefits, and conditions for all. At the same time, we are building solidarity between socialists and working people, a process that will create enormous power for this movement.
